Farm City Banquet
The Atchison Event Center proudly hosts the annual Farm City Banquet. Every year, the Atchison area business community takes time to honor the rich agricultural heritage of the region and its people. The banquet celebrates the cooperation between farm families and those in the cities and towns that have made Atchison such a unique place to live, work and raise a family.
Local businesses sponsor the event by purchasing tickets, which are then distributed to farm families free of charge. The evening includes booths sponsored by local businesses and organizations, a pie-baking contest, dinner and entertaining program.
Atchison Area Bridal Show
The Atchison Area Bridal Show exhibits everything needed for a perfect wedding. It showcases local vendors, from cake designers to tuxedo companies, as well as a fashion show, giveaways and a grand prize. The event takes place in the Riverbend Ballroom.
Spring Tea Fundraiser
The Spring Tea fundraiser is a benefit for Theatre Atchison. Guests enjoy tea, sandwiches and sweets while dining at tables designed by local businesses and organizations. A silent auction and prizes for best hats also take place.
Chamber Banquet
Each year, the members of the Atchison Area Chamber of Commerce gather to celebrate
the past year, look forward to the coming year and honor those who have excelled. The event is one of the highlights of the year for area businesses and organizations. The event takes place in the Riverbend Ballroom.
